Secure Enduser Connections, SEC, has been the standard on how to design and build networks for Swedish broadband networks since 2005. A SEC-certified network ensures a safe and qualitative connection where all types of spoofing and poisoning are made impossible.

In the beginning SEC was only intended to certify products to be used within a network. However, it soon became clear that in order to up-held safety it was necessary to look at the whole network. Since 2007 we therefore also certify complete, or parts of, broadband networks.

In the menus above and to the right you’ll find more information about SEC and can read more about the requirements we set upon manufacturers and broadband networks in order to achieve SEC-certification.
